Repeating squeak and sticking noise from front end when coasting
Hey guys. i have a 2007 xlt 4x4 and have a repeating squeak coming from the front of the truck. i searched this topic a bit but found most people who have a squeak have it occurring when they are turning. the squeaking on my truck happens both when turning and just driving straight. It only squeaks when i am coasting. whenever i touch the gas or the brake it goes away. it is a constant repeating squeak. any ideas? i also have a consistent repeating sticking noise coming from the front drivers side wheel well. i bought the truck with 90k miles on it and it was happening then but was barely noticeable so i paid no attention to it. the truck now has 101k on it and it has become significantly louder. it is like a consistant sticking noise whenever the truck is in motion. it gets faster the faster the truck is going. the only thing i can really compare the sound to is that of like a sticky roller being rolled over a table or something, the sound it makes when it is being rolled across and is very sticky (i know that wasnt the best description sorry, only thing i could think of). thanks for any advice

Check your half shafts. They could be going bad if the previous owner has never replaced them. Other than that I would say your rotors/brakes. Make sure those are good as well. If they are warped it could make that sound without putting a vibration in your steering.
