Did you need to raise the rear to level the truck?

I'm running 5100s all around on my truck an I set mine to 1" because my truck had a leveling kit when I got it but it sat a lil nose high an I hated it!! So now like my stance much better.

Not sure what you mean by "2.5", but here is my ride with Bilsteins set on maximum lift. I have not taken a measuring tape to the wheel well arches, but from my perspective it is very level.

Here she is with Bilsteins:

Here she is with OE dampers:

Thought the Bilstien settings were 1 and 2 inch.

I did not take a set of calipers to my Bilstiens, but the snap ring grooves on the shock body are positions approximately 1" apart, with the lowest at OE ride height and two more grooves positioned approximately 1" and 2" from OE groove on the shock body. 1" on the shock body does not necessarily translate to 1" of actual ride height though, because of suspension geometry. Because the damper is not mounted to the spindle, but between the spindle and the mounting pivot on the chassis, the ride height should be slightly more than the height measured at the shock body.

They are 0-2.5 according to Bilstein. I'm going to set them on the highest anyway and see how the truck sits. If I need a to raise the truck a little, that's no big deal.

For 04-08 the bilsteins are zero - 2".. The 09+ bilsteins are zero - 2.5".. I run bilstein's set to zero with a 2.5" AS level.. I did not want to chance my 35" tires not clearing with just 2" of preload lift from the bilsteins..

Hahaha. . . .35's! Heck I am bottoming my 33's into the tops of my fenders under compression as is. Of coarse I drive my truck like I stole it, both on and off the road. I was going to open the fender wells up 2-3" all the way around (like they did here), but debating between that and just buying some Glassworks Unlimited fenders.
