Default Who makes the best toolbox for bed of truck?

Looking to get a toolbox for my bed and was wondering who makes a nice black painted, diamond plate, lockable toolbox.

Thanks in advance!

I have a Tractor Supply Company (TSC) toolbox. Its the big one, not the low profile. I like this personally because I can lock both sides of the box, but dont have to unlock both sides to pop the lid. I got mine as Black Powder coat and love it. Its held up to lots of use and abuse and still is nice and shiny. Durable, strong, and dependable locks and shocks. JMO

In all honesty dude, go with weatherguard. I had a Dee Zee tool box and the lid and sides bend, dented and warped way way too easy. I have weatherguard currently and i weigh, 260lbs and i can stand on top of it and it feels about as solid as the floor of my truck bed.

I know your looking for suggestions on good brands. But I'm giving you a heads up. I have a Delta toolbox and the aluminum is very thin and bendy. I was bowfishing this weekend and a 110lb ish girl was standing on top of it and it was bending so bad i thought it was going to leave a nice sized dent. Just a heads up

UWS is the best, but can get pretty spendy depending on what you pick. Better-built is a great brand and they make exactly what you are looking for. Lowe's Kobalt brand are just rebadged better-builts. I have a Low profile diamond plate Kobalt and I'm very impressed with it. I've had Delta's in the past and was not impressed. Just to throw one more opinion into the mix, my brother swears by Jobox, which I believe is Delta's top of the line boxes.

I've got a big Kobalt and i've had really good luck with it. Had it since '05 but was put on the truck when it rolled off the lot in '03. The top could be a little thicker bet i've stood on it plenty of times and you can't tell. The buttons are on the side to open it so you don't have to reach over in the bed and like some others you can leave one side locked and just unlock one to open it. Weatherguard is really nice too though, a littler more expensive of course. I plan on getting another Kobalt when i get a new truck
