It drives a hell of a lot better now and it's not just the power, that's a big bonus in it's self, but the way it shifts now is soooo much better. I was not completely satisfied with how it down shifted before or even how the engine was reacting when I would come off full hard throttle. That seems to be 100% corrected now

If I did my math right you picked up 50+ HP which is great! I would love to hear if you have any MPG gains.

Man would I love to do that, but $3600 is a little too much for my blood right now. When I get the truck back to CONUS in 2010 (unless I can get another tour in Hawaii) then I'm gonna have to seriously look at getting it to Mike's shop for some dyno runs. Of course when I do make it back to CONUS there will be other financial considerations such as a new house, new car for the wife etc.....Truck may have to take a back seat. Wow did I just say that!

i had alwasy been told that you would have to have an increase of 15 hp to notive a difference. Do you all know if this is true or used to be in the old days or what.

iluvmyford I am not sure about the "15 hp to feel the difference" but I can tell you I picked up 44 RWHP and you can definitely feel that. With custom tuning you "feel" a huge difference in throttle response. In my case my truck would lag/stall in sections of the rpm band, Mike Troyer explained that this is due to Fords use of the ECU having a Torque Predictive Management System. This TPMS predicts what you may need and sometime you get what you ask for and sometimes all you get is hesitation/lag/stall feeling. Custom tuning from Troyer eliminates this. I am sure other tuners can do it to but I am happy with my set up and it sure sounds like whitecrystal1 is happy.
