White Smoke Coming from Oil fill Tube.
Hello. I own a 2005 f150 5.4l 3v and I recently had a timing chain issue. When the engine gets at normal temperature, smoke begins to come out of the tube. Sometimes, it will come through my a/c vents. Is this normal? What causes this to happen?

If smoke is pumping out, and you can feel a slight pressure behind it than that is not a good sign..

If the cap is on then It sounds like it's leaking.. It could be the neck or the cap leaking which is an easy fix.. It's normal to see some smoke come out on a hot motor with the cap REMOVED if that's what you asking..
With the cap removed:
If smoke is pumping out, and you can feel a slight pressure behind it than that is not a good sign..
