where to mount a winch on a car hauler
I bought the F150 to tow a car hauler. the point of the car hauler is to retrieve unrunning baja bugs and VW campers. I want a winch to pull the unrunners onto the trailer
I'm thinking the Warn M8000 is enough winch
what I need to know is where is the best place to mount it: top of the front rail, bottom of the front rail, or on the deck.
I can see that front rail folding while dragging a Westfalia with a stuck brake onto the trailer, with the winch mounted high.
