Alright, I got a picture of my actual set up instead of posting pics of other peoples stuff again haha

I just did a seat heater installation.

These pictures might help.

Best of luck.


Open the ashtray and use something to gently, but firmly, pry the lower section of the trim panel.

I alternated sides as I worked my way up. There are three clips per side.









If you have the automatic HVAC controls, I found the connectors to be a bit unusual.





The panel simply pops out.

Sorry for the long wait on this response, didn't even realize you posted a comment to me. Ha I just happened to be looking back for a picture of my switches to share with another member. That pic of the edge was actually a different members truck, I have the dash pod for my Gryphon. If you look at my other post on this topic you'll see that I have my CB mounted where that other picture had the edge. Thanks for the offer man, we'll have to get us Minnesota's together some time and show off a few trucks when we actually have some decent weather!
