Default where to install sensor for oil pressure/trans temp?

Ok I'm buying these 2 gauges, both autometer mechanical. They come with the sending units and I need to put them in.

1)For the oil pressure, where is the best place to put this? Can I get some fittings and T this off where the factory oil pressure switch is? Anyone done this, or is there another area where it's easier to do?

2)Trans temp, no idea. Where do I install this sensor?

Thanks.

I was gonna do a T off the factory line but where it's at is really a pain. You're better off just buying a pancake adapter to go where your oil filter is.

For the trans temp, there's a small 1/8" pipe plug in front of the shifter near the bell housing on the drivers side. Your sender goes there.

I can tell you the ONLY (decent) way to install your Oil Pressure gauge is to get a GlowShift sandwich adapter. I installed a "T" fitting and hooked up my nice Oil Pressure gauge - then crawled under my truck and cleaned up the mess / tightened all fittings about five times, (until I was afraid I would stripp the threads) - and the damn thing still leaked. Finally I ordered an adapter from Amazon - that didn't FIT!!!!

Contact GlowShift online - they were very helpful and shipped right away. It solved the problem beautifully. Get the 22mm

As for Trans temp --- ????. The ECU reports Transmission Temperature, and I read that with a custom gauge on Torque Pro. I have no idea where would be the best place to get that from Perhaps one could "T" into the coolant lines at the Trans.... ????
