Dang dude, you're giving up kinda early at 193k! Maybe a misfire? Then again CE light should come on anyway. I'd use the OBDII and check out some numbers first.

I would like to know where to get a decent USED engine as well. If you find a good source let me know. I have an 08 XLT with 282,000 miles that was my company work truck. When they purchased me a new one, I purchased it from my employer (for a great deal) simply to clean up and flip the truck to make a few bucks off it. The truck had always ran great, maintenance always was up to date and it is very clean. I drove the truck an average of 750 - 1200 miles a week with a 5 x 10 trailer loaded with a Polaris side by side ATV on it with zero issues. So, I get the truck, start cleaning on it now and then, it only moved from the front yard to the back yard and back to the front when I would cut grass. It sat that way for about 4 months until one day it started making an unusual sound, drove it 1 mile down the road and the engine came apart and blew 2 holes ( one tennis ball sized and one golf ball sized ) in the oil pan. Just my luck! Now, I need a motor to put in it so I can get it running to sell. I do not want to purchase a crate motor or anything in that price range as my intent is solely to sell the truck. If I were to invest in a new engine / crate motor, I would pull the engine out of my 05 Lariat (my daily driver with 140,000 miles) and put in the 08 and put the new engine in my 05 but, I dont even want to go down that road. I'd like to find a used motor to install in the truck at a decent price so I can sell it. I do not intend nor do I want to rip anyone off or sell the truck if it is not seemingly reliable but I also cannot invest too much into the truck to the point that I'd lose money on it. I already have the old engine out of it, just need to find one to put back.

ANY information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Good luck. Junk yards are asking 2500 for a used motor, with 100k or more.

Ford reman from dealer installed 7k on the nose. originally 7300$ but I walked in with cash slapped in on his desk and said I think 7k is fair enough especially up front. He agreed.

Its not a lot off but 300$ allowed me to put that 300$ somewhere else..

*edit heres why*

I wanted the 3 yr warranty

Agreed. Also, Jasper is hit or miss right now. They are having a lot of negativity in the 5.4 area. I'd go Ford. But, honestly, why not try and diagnose what's going on? Is there a CEL, what is the maintenance history, have the plugs and coils been changed, any other issues leading up to this one? Try fixing what you have instead of throwing the barn out.
