Ya i know what you mean, its just so convenient to drop the truck off at the dealer and drive away in another one.

i got my doubts that it can be buffed out, i know for a fact that my front ones wore right to the primer in some spots. you can take them off and see if a shop can do it, before warned though, a guy who "thinks" he can buff a vehicle can also ruin it as well.
