Default Wheel Swap. F150 - F250

I was just wondering if I would be able to swap wheels from my truck (2006 5.4L f150 crew cab) onto a 04 - 08 f-250 diesel. I have 17'' ultra wheel rims, and 33''x12.5'' mickey thompson MTZs. Here is a pick of the wheels.

I think there is 1 more lug hole on the heavier duty trucks than the F150 has.

alright thanks. Now would the tires be okay for a 3/4 ton? Also, would I be able to swap the fender flares that I have?

You need to go by the load rating for the tire. I believe the 250 requires a E series tire, but you can get away with a D series of you dont tow a lot with it or carry a lot of heavy loads.
I dont believe the fender flares will swap either. Go to an accessory web page and look up a flare to see if the part #'s are the same for the 2 trucks.

oh and those flares will have destroyed the paint if they were on for any amount of time.

Ya so the part numbers are different. 20916-02 and 20914-02

And yah I've had people tell me there is going to be rust and crap under the flares when i take them off. I wasn't aware of this when i put them on...They have been on for about 1.5 - 2 months now.

The reason i'm asking all of this is because i think i have decided I want a diesel. I know everyone here are f150 owners so i guess the opinions might be bias, but do you guys think switching to a diesel is a good idea? I'm lookin an 04-06 6.0L turbo diesel, most of them i'm looking at have around 100 000 -125 000 KMs. Around $20 000 - $2500 for price.

I'm just wondering if i would be running into problems in the future with that kind of milage. If i were to get a programmer, would i ru into tranny issues?

thanks
