Wheel spacers are not a good idea. The lugs need to be retorqued all the time. And when you forget to do it your wheels fall off...

If you wanted your wheels to stick out more you should of bought the wheels with the correct backspacing to accomplish that...agree with above... spacer's are not a good idea...thread lock helps but those too need checked all the time.

I honestly can't see whats wrong with them. I do agree with checking them all the time to make sure there tight but ad for them being hard on ball joints and wheel bearing, an offset rim would do the same since either way you look at it is still putting stress on those componets. I am going to do wheel spacers and I my trucks a daily driver for the family and I am not scared. I would check them every month to insure there tight my professional opinion tho. Seen lots of wheel spacers on trucks and jeep and what not alot.

1 inch bolt on spacers. Wheels are 20x8.5 with 25mm off set. I have also had spacer plates
on a mustang and on my 00' ranger lowered 4/6 with 03 cobra wheels. If you do purchace
spacers ensure you buy HUBCENTRIC ones. They have less chance of causing vibration
then lugcentric spacers from not being seated on the hub properly.

a 1.25 in spacer will clear the studs. my 1 inch spacers cause the stock studs to slightly come in contact with the aftermarket wheels. minor stud trimming is req. so I would use the 1.25 if you can find them. also there is a guy on here running 1.5 inch and he likes them. looks good too. its a white crew cab like mine with 35's...
