Default Wheel spacers

Just bored and was looking at throwing some wheel spacers on my truck for a more aggressive look. Nothing too crazy but I just wanted to poke my wheels out a bit more from the body. Anyone have any issues wheel spacers? Pros and cons?

I personally don't like spacers for a couple reasons. 1) Increased stress on the ball joints, wheel bearings and studs. The studs probably concern me most. If they stretch, the nuts will loosen and you'll lose a wheel. If they break, same result. I drove a AAA tow truck for 15 years and have seen several wheel departures due to spacers. 2) Increased paint chipping and dings due to the increased tire protrusion.
I have always run as little offset as I can get away without rubbing.

I agree with PerryB. I work on cars for a living, I've never come across a car that has benefitted from using spacers, yet have come across a few that had the bad side effects of them. Honestly, if you're going to do something, do it right.

Should you do spacers, look for hub centric instead of lug centric. Hub Centric will put LESS stress on your components. Which means there will still be stress, but less of it.

And reduce the possibility of vibration issues.

The 1.5" looks "just right" IMHO.
