Wheel offset for lifted f150
Im going with a 6" lift and 35's on my 07 f150 super cab. I've finally decided on the wheels which are 18x9 eagle alloys 079, the only thing is I want to make sure the offset is going to look right. Are these wheels going to be enough offset?

I want the wheels to stick out 2-3" from the fenders for a wide stance. I've been looking at f150's with -24 offset and -44 offset. I think either of those are the stance I'm going for, but I can only find these wheels in a -12 offset 4.46 backspace.
I want this offset.

You wont find an 18x9 with -24 or -44 offsets. A 18x10 can have a -24 offset and a 20x12 can have a -44 offset. The white truck you have in your pictures looks to be an 18x9 with -12 offset. The black truck looks to be 18x10 with -24 offset. From what you say you want as far as stance, the 18x10 would be my suggestion.

to get the look you want you need to determine how much backspacing you want. measure from the face of the hub out to where you want the edge of the wheel. once you have that number you can figure out the wheel width and offset. offset is determined by the centerline of the rim and how far +(towards the outer edge) or -(towards the back side) the mounting surface is in relation to the center line. a 18x10 with 0 offset has more of a lip than a 18x9 with a 0 offset. the -44 offset wheels your seeing are most likely a 12" wide wheel
