What's the "phone" button good for?
2008 F-150.
On the stereo controls, there is a button with a symbol of a phone on it. Is there a way to make this work for hands free calling and so on? It doesn't find my phone or anything when I have the Bluetooth turned on on my phone. Thanks .

All it does is mute the radio.

They make Bluetooth units that plug into your aux port. Not sure how good they are though. Rechargeable unit that you hook into your aux port and utilize your trucks speakers, has built in mic.

OP got his answer...
I want to know where the Aux port is!? Is it an 1/8" jack somewhere?

Funny I never noticed the mute button in my 04 and I've owned it for almost 3 years
I'm sure I've noticed it but never paid attention until to it until I saw this thread.
