I changed my spark plugs this weekend and 5 out of the 8 broke off. What a pain, and I've only had the truck a few weeks. Anyway, in the process of doing that, I broke this hose or vacuum line running to this emissions sensor or EGR maybe? The one mounted with 2 screws to the firewall. I showed the pic to the guys at Napa and they didn't know what it was called which was kind of a shock. For now I superglued it back so I can drive it till I have a chance to repair it. My truck it idling very low when I stop or slow down, like it wants to die out. So I'm guessing a vacuum leak due to breaking that rubber line. No codes have come on yet. Any suggestions and help on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Is your truck four wheel drive? sure looks like the soleniod for the vacuum for the four wheel drive.

Wrong side for the 4x4 solenoid ain't it? That pic is by the brake booster

That's called the canister pure valve or vapor management valve or vent

Great, I'll get that changed out and the vacuum lines around it look pretty worn. Hope this will get her running well again!
