Default whats my 08 2wd lift options?

I bought this truck early this year and had planned to lift it a little and get some better tires/rims to go with it. Its a 2wd supercab and I dont want a 6 inch lift which is what I mainly see. I am not sure if a leveling kit would be enough either. There isnt much in between on the market for these trucks either. I just a little more clearence and a tough looking wheel/tire combo.

Any help and pictures would be appreciated

Heres what I'm working with

you could do a 2" leveling kit and a 3" body lift

personally, i think if you do less then 6", within a couple months your going to regret it

Go to a junk yard and get the front coilovers of a 4x4 f150, and then add a leveling kit and aals or blocks on the back. This should lift the front about 4"s or so, a friend of mine did that to his truck and it all bolted right on and had no issues .

if you lift the front end 4" without installing new cross members for the lower arms, your angles would be unbelievably extreme. I dont even think its possible to bolt all that stuff up.

Agree with this statement 110%. I had a 2.5" leveling kit on my truck and thought that would be enough, nope. I ended up going with the 6" suspension lift and am totally happy with the looks. I get so many compliments that the look of the truck is just right, not too tall and not too short, just right. Trust me when I say once you start lifting it you're going to want to go higher. Also IMO don't go to no junkyard and start doing a frankenstein job on your truck. It's your baby and you paid a lot of money for it, do it right the first time or don't do it at all.

Does anyone have any pictures of their 2WD with the leveling kit? Im looking to buy the kit. Would 33's fill up the front fender well to much you think? And what does the OEM 20" come for tire size?

This is my 2008 F150 Supercrew Flareside FX2 with OEM 20" wheels and 275/55 Perelli Scorpion ATR tires. I put a 3" leveling kit on the front, im happy with it for now until i get bigger tires. Then i might go to a suspension lift.

Does anybody have any pics of a 2wd supercab with a 6" lift. It seems a bit much for a 2wd to me. I am in the same boat as Lowblueranger. I have a 07 2wd supercab and i also want to go a little taller. I kind of want that prerunner look. I was told that a 2.5" front leveling kit with a procomp add a leaf kit for the rear might do the trick. Any thoughts on that? I also am looking to get larger tires. I'm kind of worried that a 6" lift on a 2wd might make me look like a poser.
