What's the coolest thing you have done to your truck for under $100?

Added the 09+ fender emblems and decals. Also had my grill painted to match the bumpers. Just over $100

Went to the dealer. Gave them my $1.87. Pulled off my center console (it's all one piece, not the lid, the area around your shifter). You have to lift up the console lid first to take off the surrounding around your shifter. Then you will see a wire with a light bulb connected to your "lighting" (D/N/R/1/2/3) area. Pull that out, take out the old bulb, and pop in the new one. Close the surrounding area, and be amazed.

That's funny, cause mine was unplugged too. Something must be up in Dodge.

Probably not, because it's not the bulb that makes the color, it's the "silk paper" material stuff. It would be cool though.

I did my cowl pieces and now they look brand new.

The best mod I've done to mine for less than $100 was picking up a Superchips programmer for $75. A local guy had bought it for his Ranger and it only works for the V8s. The engine came to life when I installed the 91 octane tune.

Mines doing the same thing. When you wash, you can rub it down with tire shine, it makes black plastic come back as actually black. You could plasti dip or paint it, either would be an improvement
