Default Whats the best tuner?

I am looking at getting a tuner for my 04 fx4 and I wouldnt mind some input on what you guys are having good or bad luck with.

I am leaning towards the Edge Evolution right now.

Thanks.

edge don't have settings like that, 1, 2, or 3. i have an 07 crew, 4" lift, 35's, 3.55 gears--i get 17mpgs+ on the highway, one time i knocked down 18.2 on the interstate, cruise at 70 the whole way, 300 miles one way. around town i get 12-14 it all depends on the day and traffic wise.

traffic? in phillips? Really thinking about an eveloution looking for more mileage, I don't pull anything really heavy. I really like the ability to monitor things. don't plan on an intake or exhaust. Got a Harley that is putting out 97 HP and 103 FTLBS TQ but want a couple mpg. hoping to pick up a little with a bed cover.... you feel a evo keeps reliability with canned programs?

well i didn't mean traffic in phillips, lol, kinda nonexistent. yea the digital monitoring is great, you can set up alerts, clear engine codes. well worth the coin IMO. as for reliability, the edge doesn't make that drastic of changes to really effect it, i have never heard anyone wrecking there motor/trans from using an edge on a gasser. now diesel is another story.

reading through the sticky thread I think there was a guy that said he took his trans out in a day or two. I think he had turned it way up though. I think that is the only one that reported a failure I read a couple posts about a shutter. I guess I'll have to look at prices to see. Is there a risk in buying a used one?
