I have the Airaid system. IMO CAI's are a waste of money and can actually make you lose MPG's. I have mine just because I wanted it and somedays I think I see a .5 MPG improvement from it and somedays I'm glad it at least whistles loud. Thats about it.....oh it looks cool though but how many people see it?? Not many

Volant, Airaid and K&N are probably the top 3 hands down...the Volant is crazy expensive for no reason. Don't think that sexy lil box they put them in keeps the heat out..it's still under your hood. You'll probably get better results from just throwing a K&N filter into you stock air box. At least you'd see savings over the years from not buying filters all the time.

i threw a drop-in, replacement k&n filter in my stock air box on my 5.4L, def felt more "umph" and it sounds awesome up hills and when i tow...now my exhaust tone overpowers it, but it feels much better than the stock paper filter...

Yeah, I won't say my CAI isn't cool...it sounds like my blow off valve in my lil turbo car, a lil louder most days, but that's about it..after I put my exhaust on my truck felt restricted so I could have gone with a replacement high flow filter but instead I had some money in my paypal account and felt the need to spend it.
