What are your tires' PSI??
#41
why would the door tag be default when the tires have the recommended PSI and weight load on them?
this is especially true if you have a light truck w/ E rated tires on it. Your truck is going to tell you one thing.....40 - 60 max for example.....then youre tires are going to tell you something else.......for example 65psi - 80 max

The pressure on the tire sidewall is the Maximum permissible pressure for the tire. The door tag tire pressure is adjusted for that specific vehicle.

I like the chalk method:
draw a nice heavy chalk line across the tire and drive a bit on a smooth surface. Adjust pressure to get the chalk to wear off evenly. Once you do this for a new set of tires you now where to keep it for the life of the tire.
