Default What are your tires' PSI??

I just put on 275/70/18 Nitto TGs and max PSI is 80... The guys at the tire shop pumped em up to 35. This was a smooth ride, but MAN I could tell my truck was working harder... So I pumped them up to 60 and now I feel every bump in the road... I need new shocks I am sure, but I sure forgot how much different these tires handle! LoL...

I think I may run 50psi for now and get new shocks here in a bit...

Not the same tire I know, I'm running 40PSI in my 305/35-24's.
Ride & handling is good.

wow 60 seems awful high to me. i run 40 in my 275.70.17s and i tried running 45 and did not see any improvement so i went ahead and went back to 40 so the ride would be a little nicer.

at what point have you guys that run near the max psi stop seeing improvement in mpgs and start to really make the ride rough?

35 was a nice ride, but really bogged my old beast down... 60 is better but a rough ride... could care less about mpg

I run my 325/65/18 bfg ta kos at 50psi, never really looked to see if there was a gain in mpgs but the ride feels better, especially turning, the truck doesn seem to float around, feels much more planted. in rain though i will break the back tires loose from just a regular start almost every time.

I have 17's and run 50 PSI, you feel the ride but it is more responsive and better mileage than at lower pressures. I run 60 in my F250.

45 front 40 rear unless im pulling my camper. theres no reason to ever run max pressure unless youre loaded down.
