That is a heck of a deal for that dallassupercrew. Wished I lived closer to texas, because many of the better prices I have seen have been in texas. And for whatever reason, the coasts seem to be cheaper too. Here in the midwest the darn things hold their value so well.

Man, I know now where to go to sell my truck....
I think since down here every other vehicle is a truck, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. It might be worth a Southwest flight to Texas to pick you up a nice one though!

You guys are getting great trucks for the money. Missouri must have a shortage of trucks here because they are bringing premium prices. My 05 Lariat was listed at 21,900 with 67k on it, and it was about the going rate for that type. I should have went outta state, but i agree with others keep looking.

Amen because I can't get near those prices, and trust me I have tried! I live in Missouri and have tried Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska dealerships everywhere.

my take is that it comes down to what you want to spend monthly. When I got my truck my payment fit it.. now I'm paying new car payments for a 50k mile truck.. im not happy now to say the least I've learned my lesson for future..

Keep looking. I could never justify paying that kind of money with mileage that high. It will easily have over 200k long before its paid for.

When I was looking for my truck I found a few '04 FX4 supercabs with 75k for $11k.

I paid $14,700 for my '06 Supercab XLT 4x4 with 48k in February.

I got my 2007 XLT with a 5.4 and 3.73 gears for 22 grand. It had 11,000 miles on it when I picked it up a few months back from a dealer here in WV.

They also game me 3 grand for my trade in.

Could you provide a dealer name? WV is not that far - but $$ is higher for trucks in PA maybe because of the snow we are actually getting this winter!

I don't know... TBH, those prices are a little low. At least for my area with the current used truck market. An 07 XLT with 78k miles sold for $17k a little while ago. I had to pay a little more than that (with negative trade in on my car though) for my 04 FX4 Screw with 79k miles. The market for clean used trucks is tough here.

Only ones I found in that price range had a few more miles, were rebuilds (ick) or were lower trim levels. Like I said though, it is just the market in my area. If it was feasible for me to travel to go pick up a truck I could have had one for a about $2k or so cheaper.
