u know everyone has different taste but the 04 - 08 body style is just, well, hard to find enough exotic words to say how good it looks. IMHO ford makes the best looking super crew.
I liked mine alot when i bought it but now that i pretty much have the fx2 front end i just love it. got a lot of compliments on it to.

Cool

Go for the 08.....I just bought the 08 FX4 crew cab for 29 out the door with the service plan till 60k and the extended warranty till 75k. They have awesome deals right now don't miss out. I didn't get the loaded one as leather is not realistic here in vegas, but this one is great!! Go for it.

[quote=bcmontgomery;84116]I may be a little off, A plan is a set price on the invoice, figured they were just offering less rebates so they could start at that price. Since you work at a dealer djquick, did the employee price deal really drop the price some on off the street is going to pay vs the rebates and such they were offering last month. I know after 9-11 they had a employee price deal and actualy stopped A-plan for a while. 765 credit and Ford hit me with 7.99 on a 60 month loan. State Farm Bank shot me 4.89 on a 48, little better.

I was never aware that A-plan ever went away.A-plan pricing is a percentage of window sticker and it is signifigantly better than invoice.Rebates have been the same on either.

When you select a truck as a A plan buyer they get the actual invoice and show you the A plan box (less than invoice price) then also subtract all rebates. It is not a flat % because you get a higher percentage off a loaded truck like this one, they can do more on a truck with a higher profit margin. This probably makes it a real good time to buy a loaded truck. A plan only went away for a short time, it would not have been fair to make an employee use one of their 4 yearly pins when there was no additional discount for it.

I have seen the new 150 in person and there are some things that would take to get used to. I think that they are talking about substantial H.P. and torque increase, but no #'s to my knowledge. I am not so sure about what the luxury pkg. is, but if you are saving 10k, it seems like a good deal.

The day I purchased my truck I wasn't planning on buying. I talked the salesman down from 34k to 23k so I figured I better take it while I could. Like crazy says it doesn't hurt to try to get them to come down more. There are plenty of other trucks out there so if you are not happy with the price get up and walk out. As long as you are not being unrealistic with your offer price they will probably give it to you instead of letting you go somewhere else.

Well I bought the 08 FX4. So I have crossed the tracks from GM to Ford going from a 03 Yukon 4X4 to the F150.
The kids ride MX so we spent a lot of time at the tracks and then during the winter I pull a 'lite' 18" toyhauler out to Ocotillo Wells (the desert). The Yukon was good to us but the F150 is bit more practical. We just ran it on an 800 mile trip to Bishop, CA loaded with 4 motorcycles (kid bikes) and gear (the 6.5ft bed helped). She ran good and was comfortable.

I guess I'll be spending some time here in your forums getting advice from you all.

Now it's time for the mods!
