I agree. Save the tuner for last that way you can get your tunes set up for exactly what performance mods you have.

If you want a good cat-back that is still pretty quiet, get a Gibson single outlet. Almost as quiet as stock.

From what I've been able research on several sites, a programmer will give the first/biggest gains for new type gas engines. A lot of folks are bad mouthing the edge because it doesn't come "re-writeable" but that can be changed evidently (for a price).

It is nearly impossible to find legitimate information about actual performance gains with various headers and cat-back systems. Even people who pay big$$ for mods seldom post before/after dyno information to back up all the talk.

PLEASE, somebody prove me wrong.

Well, personally I agree with "Blown Ford". If these mods are done to increase HP, I tried the CAI/programmer/TBI/Exhaust combo and got maybe 30 HP and paid 12-1500 for the works. Dropped 2500.00 on the roush kit and I got 150 hp and 180 TQ. Much better I think for the money.

Uh the edge is dyno rated at 35 rwhp on the stock 5.4 3v, my intake is around 12 and the exhaust is about the same. So conservatively that's 50 whp if you go with their numbers, not to mention if you let Bill at php do what he does best with customs

Even in a dream world where you get 50 usable rwhp from the standard bolt ons, the blower is still a better value.

Nos would be the only better bang for your buck.
