Default what upgrade would you get first?

I have a 2004 ford f150 5.4l V8 ALL I have on it so far is a leveling kit and 33 inch toyos M/T on it. My question is what would you guys get first? would you get a cold air intake or would you get and edge evolution programmer?

You may want to check out the Roush "Legal" Cat-back.

Flowmaster has several "quieter" mufflers as well: http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1

magnaflow has good kits, that are not too loud. in fact, i was expecting mine to be louder than it is, so i was a little disappointed at first, but it might be just what your looking for.

and, if you want to notice a differece right away, then i would get the EDGE. plus, it has cool features like gauge monitoring, and code reading, etc. you really wont notice much with the CAI, or exhaust alone, other than the exhaust tone if you go that route.

the EDGE is a great unit IMO, and will give you a noticable difference the fastest.

Magnaflow, Roush, or Borla street legal kits aren't to loud and will last a lifetime. Oh and get a Whipple if you want some real power.

Thats what I did. The tuner was by far the biggest boost to performance.

$8000..What?! Where do you buy stuff? Whipple Kits and Roush kits run about $4920. Or you can pick up a used one like i did for $3450. Theres also a Roush 5psi kit 112hp for $2000.

Lets see exhaust $500. Edge $300 (i think) CAI 3-400. And you'll have about 20-30hp over stock for $11-1200. Don't get me wrong thats great for most. Infact when I bought my truck I put an Airaid CAI on it and bought a superchips cortex tuner. Then bought the catback system on ebay. I sold the Airaid and need to sell the SuperChips Cortex. 30hp just wasn't getting it.
