Keep in mind that just because the most people use the K&N doesn't necessarily mean its the best. A lot of that is just brand recognition. But K&N makes good stuff so if u go with that u will be happy, as with any other intake out there

I had K&Ns in the past but now have an AEM Brute Force. I'm done messing with specialty oil and cleaners. The AEM is rated highly and I can rinse (soak) it out with regular mild detergent - no oiling needed.

I agree, the new dry filters are rated really well and take less effort to upkeep. I love my AFE.

Soon I'll be buying my own to put on and I'm going with AFEs Stage 2 Dry version so I don't have to deal with oil based filters.

i got a K&N CAI with no complaints....i picked it up for a steal and a half...
$75 ....its all personal preference just go with a good deal when you find one...try searching craigslist for one thats where i got mine
