I noticed when looking at accessories for the truck, it has the normal year/make/model/cab type etc but then it has options for XLT, FX4 along with others etc. My truck is listed as an XLT FX4 so I assume it was the XLT trim with the optional FX4 package.
Do I chose XLT or FX4 when choosing? the places I was looking at are giving me conflicting information. if the people selling the items are not sure, it makes me unsure.
this is mainly in looking at seat covers. I should probably just go by the seat descriptions. for exterior accessories, the FX4 seems to be the same other than the decal but was not sure to chose XLT or FX4 for that as well. thanks

Don't the FX4's have a console in the middle and bucket seats?

Your truck will not be both an XLT and an FX4. If you give me, or any Ford dealer your vin, we can tell you.

Or, the bucket seats and console were added by a previous owner.

The FX4 and the XLT have a different instrument cluster. Easiest way for me to tell.

thanks, its definately the FX4 then, has the FX4 cluster, carbon fiber around radio etc. THe dealer is not a ford dealer, they had it listed as an XLT in error.
