Default What tires fit?

Hi guys... new to this site as of today..

I am buying a new 08 F150 FX4 - 4x4 Super Cab later this week and it currently comes with 20" rims on it (stock)... I want to upgrade to chrome rims, probably only 18"...and want more tire... aggressive off road tire. But wondering what is the max size I can fit and look normal.. I dont want to lift or modify the truck. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. was hoping to do 33x12.50's but that might be too large, not sure..

I have 18's and just bought 285x65 BFG AT KO
There is no rubbing at all.
I found that there wasnt much to choose from with a 18" rim. I wanted 285x85 but i couldnt find any.
I am really happy with what I got tho

you might check to see if an 18" will fit an '08 first...usually when they put 20 on stock, that is the size you need to stay with. i dont think that they have changed the calipers but you might check to be sure!

you can put 295s(33.3x 11.5) on stock rims with a 2.5 leveling kit.

Welcome!

First, check to make sure the truck will be able to fit 18" rims.
Second, you will probably only be able to clear 31's, maybe 32's, without lifting the front. 33's will rub without lifting.
