What are the three loops behnd the back seats?
Hello:
I just purchased a 2006 F150 XLT 4x4 Supercab and discovered three cloth loops behind and along the top of the rear seats - one in the middle and one on each side. Can anyone tell me what the function is of these loops?
Thanks for any help,
Chris

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new truck. Those loops are part of a system called latch. This is how child safety seats are installed into vehicles now. On a child seat there is a hook at the top that attaches to that loop. IF you feel between between the seat and back rest cushions, you will find steel loops that are the other connection points for the seats.
