What should I do first?
Alright guys I have a 2008 XLT SuperCrew that was bought last week.
I have a few hundred bucks for it right now, and I'm just wondering what you guys think I should start with?
I would like:
Roll bar with 4 KC's
A Bull Bar with 2 KC's
A cat back exhaust, open to ideas
CAI?
Tuner?
And some other mods.
Now, I have just gotten all fluids and oil changed, the truck has 78,000 on it and it's pretty clean.
I'm just looking for some opinions on where you pro's would start.
Thanks in advance guys

It's a 5.4 and I really like the color on it. It looks great all shined up.

If it where me, id love to spend the money on the exhaust but getting the plugs fixed would be my main priority. I did the plugs before doing anything aftermarket upgrades to mine and I feel good about the decision.

Yeah you're probably right. I think that's what I plan on doing. I'm gonna head to our parts yard an look for some other stuff, but then tackle the plugs tomorrow if I can get the stuff in. Thanks for the input

Good news! Lucky for me, my truck was built after the bad spark plugs. I should still do the plugs but I'm not so scared about it now. And on the tuner, I'm not sure if the tuner would help much because I haven't done anything to the truck yet? Shouldn't I get the exhaust and cai first? I apologize for sounding like a noob, but I am actually, a noob. Haha thanks for the info

Well, you can do the programmer, Its the first thing I did so I could change my shift points while towing. Its easy to use and you can call hypertech and tell them what your trying to gain with it and theyll tell you where to set it! I noticed around 1.5-2 MPG increase on paper. I was happy with it, plus when I towed my bass boat it used to shift down constantly, but after the programmer it hardly ever shifted down
