Default What is this plug?

I was changing my plugs today and noticed this plug disconected. I couldnt locate the other end. This is on a 2006 5.4 with an eaton supercharger. Its behind the supercharger on the passenger side. Any ideas? Could it be something that wasn't needed when the conversion was done? Thanks for any help.

You don't need it.

That's for the IMRCs. Or at least that's what ford used to call them. The intake would open and close longer runners for more power at different rpms. Short runners help with low end and long runners help with top end.

Your truck no longer uses it (or needs it with that Eaton)
