Default In what order should I go?

I have an 06 stx 4x4 with the 4.6. I just put on the tires and leveling kit. My future plans include exhaust, cai, and edge evo. In what order should I add these?

Forget the Edge; it's for stock trucks.

Forget the A/M intake; save your money for a programmer/tuner with custom tunes. Do the Gotts mod instead.

Assume you are doing the exhaust for noise. If it's cat back modification, you can do this anytime.

Result:

1. Order tuner from PHP, include any mods (current and near future) on your order form.
2. Receive Gryphon or SCT with tunes.
3. Gotts mod. Run on level 2 (tow) until you receive custom tunes.
4. Receive custom tunes.

I agree with you on the gryphon, but i would do a CAI (S&B)....

I did my exhaust first (magnaflow)
ordered my gryphon w/custom tunes
put my CAI on
and got my gryphon

not really going for sound, just wanted to open up the engine more and let it breathe so it doesn't downshift on interstate when going over a bridge. I was looking at Flowmaster 40 series until I found out about Goerlich mufflers.

The exhaust will not help.

I agree with the first guy forget the CAI and do the gotts mod. And I prefer magnaflow for a cat back exhaust great tone and it lets her breathe better
