Keep track of EVERY oil change. No you changing your oil will not void the warranty. You need to look in the owners manual and see what services are required. Need to have proof that they are done on time. Even ifyou are doing them yourself. Mobil 1 is what I use. The Motorcraft is a good oil too. Stay with synthetic and do your oil changes every 5000 miles.

I vote Mobile 1 5-20 with a good filter, K&N or Mobile 1. Keep receipts and record the changes in your book.

Why would you pay extra for synthetic and then change it every 5K miles?

Save the money. I'd buy the cheap dollar oil and change it every 3K miles. As long as the API alphabet on the label is there, then the oil passes all the tests and is just as good.

that is what I am saying...why are you buying the best oil known to man and then change it after one fourth of it's life. If your are fixated on changing your oil and filling the enviroment with used oil--- buy the cheap stuff, as long as it has the API ratings, and spend less. What I was asking was why pay double for syn and then change at dino oil rates?

Maybe I should ignore you... you seem to have problems with english.
Perhaps the heat has got to your brain...
