Inaugural TOTM
I m going to assume since you only added a leveling kit and was able to fit 35's you have a 4WD. With a 4WD and 35's you DON'T have to change out gears, but my suggestion would be to add 4.56's (I had Yukon's in my old truck). As for programmer I would suggest an SCT tuner from Troyer Performance, he specializes in tuning F150's.

What gears - programmer?
You will get many different opinions.
On my truck I have 35" toyo's -- had 3:73 gears for the first 16,000 miles. Not bad "but" I wanted to increase my power a little more. I thought my towing would benefit from a lower gear - seeing as how I wanted to run 35" tires on my truck.
My Programmer a Sct x3 helped me out nicely (I had a CAI and Cat back 3" exhaust) It works best with the CAI AND Exhaust combination.
The SCT X3 also has custom tunes.
I was surprised when I had the gears put in my 4x4. at 70 mph my rpm is 2200. this is with the cruise set at 70. I expected the gear ratio to make my truck work harder on the freeway. 2200 rpm at 70 mph seems perfect to me!
So, I am happy.
Did I need them? after all I had 3:73 gears stock. Not really! I could have gotten by with 3:73 gears.
