Any ideas how to tell the size diff/axle I need? Tag is V831J 3L55 88 4L11

8.8 diff with 355 ratio and limited slip.

They made two different size diffs. a 8.8 and a 9.75 with 373 gear. Idk what the gearing for 8.8 was.. I guess 355..

Now that's chunky. Lol. If I were you I'd look into a salvaged rear end. Not sure I'd keep the 8.8. I'd want to step up to the 9.75. You can get it in your gearing so your speedometer isn't off. Check local salvages. Just make sure it's from the same Gen or close to the same year.
