What did you do to your 11th gen today?

Somebody is quite the fanboy
The transmissions in our trucks aren't the greatest. Only crappy Chevy ones are non-built 4L60E's, which bloooooow. 4L80E's are indestructible.
I think he means your headlights cause the tint on them is limiting the already no-so-great output haha.

exactly. I'd be scared of a dealer working on my truck. only a scattered garage for certain jobs I'd trust, and I avoid those like I avoid needles - until I have no choice. I pay a friend who's better equipped for some jobs to do those at times, who I trust.
I can do some decent work usually, but I'd frankly rather know it's a lower quality job in exchange for knowing I observed exactly what I did the whole time.
as to chevy recalls.....that's mostly a car issue.....much less so the trucks.....and some fords should have been recalled but weren't

Yep, I meant the headlights. I have no problems seeing in mine with the Philips Crystal vision ultra bulbs that I also have in the foglights.
I also just buttoned up replacing both my upper control arms. Not to bad at all. Was able to just undo the top 3 strut bolts, the sway bar links and then lower the strut out of the way far enough to get the arm to frame bolts out, leaving the lower shock mount attached. I was surprised that while torquing the ball joint nut to 85lb ft, that I didnt have to take it past that at all to be able to get the cotter pin in. Alignment in the morning, although it feels pretty good. I am not taking any chances ruining my new Cooper tires.
