It's on a slight incline. The rake is 2.25" higher in the rear. Right around factory rake for an 08. 06-08 are around 2" and 04-05 are about 2.5"-3".

I like having some rake. But you should have seen it before. It was 3" taller in the rear.

The leveled look just isn't my thing, personally.

Thanks.

I started with the 2" block, added 4x4 coilovers in the front, but they lifted me too high. I was at about 24" in the front with those, then added a 2.5" block, then a 3" block. At that point my truck started to look a bit lifted and that really wasn't what I wanted. Replaced the coilovers with Monroe 2wd quickstuts and put a 1/2" soacer on them. Had a little over 3" of rake, so now I'm back to where I started with the 2" blocks.

While they're not hard to swap, laying on the ground and tightening and un tightening those nuts on the u bolts is not comfortable.

How did the blocks do ride wise and with hauling stuff I might put some taller ones on my truck since I'll be leveling it hopefully soon to fit some 35s and I'll want to lift the rear too eventually

I didn't notice any difference between any of the blocks (or no block) and how the truck rides. You'd need taller shocks, but there shouldn't be any issues.

They're very easy to swap. Remove all 4 bolts on one side, jack up the truck using the leaf spring, slip in the block, lower the jack (may have to rock the wheel a little to get the pins to set) and reinstall u bolts and nuts. You do need longer u bolts, but they usually come with the block kits.

The 3" block kit would probably be what you need. What year is your truck? Oe blocks on 04-05 are 2" and OE blocks for 06-08 are 1 5/8".

Mine came from a guy that had an 05 and swapped for larger blocks.

Thanks for all the information mines an 08 and after looking around it looks like motofab (same brand as my level) has a 3" block for $60 on eBay so I'll likely go with that one thanks again
