Talking What Did I Do To My Truck Today.

Thursday April 8th;
After installing my Rize Kit with the King Shocks, Limiting Straps and Bump stops, Refer to Thread http://www.truckmodcentral.com/forum...ead.php?t=2688 I've taken my truck on the trails countless times. I've been hearing my front passenger suspension bottoming out on me. So I took it back to Wicked Creations who took the front suspension apart to cycle it. He then send the shocks to King, who's business is right next door, who added a 2" spacer on the shocks, an extra rubber bump and re-valved them.

Results of bottoming out:

Before--------------------------------------------------------------After

[

Before spacer, Shock Set hight:

After spacer, shock set hight:

I also had them re-weld my winch/light bar support, refer to post https://www.f150forum.com/f34/baja-light-bar-tlc-43836/

I had also picked up 4 new spring leaf U bolt from Deavers the other day and since Wicked Creations were working on the suspension I had them install it instead.

Default Sunday March 11th:

After I finished designing my window net and my wife finished sewing it together,

I added the Grommets

Then crazy got the best part of me and I made a bunch of holes around my windows

Then I took zippy ties to secure the net on my window openings.

With the windows up

With the windows down

The purpose of the window net is to be able to keep my windows rolled down and stop most of the dust from entering the truck, branches form slapping me or my passengers or being hit by flying pebbles when running the trials; it is intended for off road use only.

dude...nice truck.....but please gusit (sp) the winch mount....triangulate the welding surface....any type of angled pulls will rip it right off the weld. also check and make sure that on the shock issue if it keeps happening add a reservoir with a heavier fluid...

You can always find more things to tinker with on your truck, you must be constantly coming up with ideas.

What's the reasoning for a more narrow tire?

Less heavier over all, I noticed that when I climbed hills with my 35s I did it like nothing, but now I struggled with my 38/13.5. Now I want to see if it makes a big difference.
