Default Help Needed: Truck Problem

Hi all. Hope someone may have some information that would help me out. While driving to work this morning, my 2007 F150 Supercrew 4X4 had what I suppose is a transmission failure. I was driving and noticed that the truck shifts normally from 1st to 2nd, but when it shifts up from 2nd it basically goes into neutral instead of 3rd gear and just revs up. When I slowed down, it shifted back down into 2nd gear and I could drive it slowly.

The truck has 53,000 miles and is under warranty. I had dealer perform a transmission flush on my last service around 51,000 miles. Hopefully that isn't the cause of this issue.

There has been no prior warning at all. Truck has always run perfectly. The check engine light never came on.

Roadside Assistance has just picked it up and delivered it to the dealer for service.

Any thoughts as to what might have let go? Electronic component or internal transmission failure?

Appreciate any feedback you guys can give me.

Thanks,
Mark

I'm no expert on tranny's but maybe it slipped? Not sure.

There's a chance the flush loosened debris in the lines, which clogged elsewhere. I've been told that can happen, but not usually until higher miles than what you have. Lucky for you, your under warranty, so good luck!

Just a bump to see if anyone else can provide any insight. Haven't heard back from the dealer so I assume they haven't been able to diagnose the issue yet.

Thanks,
Mark
