So I've had an odd gas thing happen to me... (First of all this is a real new truck and I've only filled it with gas 3 times).

First tank (dealer gas) - 12 mpg...
Second Tank (NO ETHANOL Gas - get it from the coop) - 12 mpg
Third Tank - Mid grade gas 87 octane - 16.8 mpg
Fourth Tank - Back to the No Ethanol gas and it looks like I'm going to be seeing around 10 mpg.


So here's the real odd thing - with every other vehicle, Motorcycle & Ford Explorer Sport I get like 10% better mileage with the pure (no ethanol) gas. But with this truck it seems like it's worse for it...

Any ideas?

Gas is gas.... then again there is American gas and everybody else.
Shell and Exxon are not American gas....
BP is not supporting the middle east.
Any thoughts on this?
I WILL pay more to support American efforts!
