i thought about under the center console as well but then i got to thinking if i needed to adjust the amp or change a fuse i wanted it somewhere easy to get too... but behind the seat on the cab wall will create a clean look, just kind of become a pain if you ever needed to get to the amp...
just my opinion...

I have two amps one under the front passenger seat and the other under the back seat passenger side. I mounted my jack in the bed of my truck on the front wall. I do have a roll top locking cover so no one can steal the jack.

i took my rear seat off after much much hassel (on my part) i had read posts on how to remove it and figured the screwdriver trick would work well - it did only after i started pushing towards the roof and not into the hole that holds the split bench seats - anyways, i mounted my amp in the middle of the seat and will finish installation of all other wiring this wkend. Will i have to worry about air flow for the amp when i put rear seat backrest back on?

I mounted mine where the jack was, easy access. Just threw my jack in my tool box.

i mounted my amp where the jack goes. I'll tell ya the thru bolts for the jack mount was perfect to mount my ground wire too. Worked out real well. My amp fit perfectly under the small split seat where jack goes on my scab. I ran all my grounds new wires and all worked out it sounds awesome. Next to install a sub i think i might just hook it under the other seat probably downblast a ten inside a custom box under the seat. Any idea's though of some good tens to put under there. Im not looking for anything crazy but just enough to sound good with the door speakers and give the system some thump. Any recommendations?

Those looking for mounting space in lifted trucks.. take out the jack!
I bought mine (with 6" suspension lift) and they had been driving around with the jack even though it would be useless if they ever got a flat!
I fold up the passenger side/rear seat of my superclub crew and set my toolbox in there at night.
Seems obvious, but could be over looked.
