Default Wet floor passenger side

Howdy all,

Did a search, couldn't find anything. I'm sure it has something to do with running my A/C. I noticed a few weeks ago that under the floormat on the passenger (front) side that the carpet is wet. It will dry out when the truck is not running and I remove the floor mat. But, after driving, and having the A/C on, it is wet. Anybody else have this problem or have any idea what is going on?

thanks!

your AC drain tube is either off or missing. This is a consistant problem on some of the 04 - 06 trucks. So the water comes out of the unit and follows the firewall using the path of least resistance. There are multiple blogs on this subject.

Thanks rplatt. I wonder if they screwed that up during an oil change. Oh well, back under the hood

From what i understand its a tight fit as to where the drain hose needs to be installed.

Yeah the TSB makes it look/sound tight but I'll give it a go. Ordered the stupid little elbow from Ford yesterday. I'm just not happy about having to take the wheel off to do it but I'm not crying, I'm a big boy!

could you post a copy of the TSB?

I have looked up under but could not find the hose, I do get a large puddle under the truck when the ac is on but it is dripping some where then runs down the frame.

not 100% what I am looking for
