Depends on the application, climate, and what it's powering. For my stock truck (4x2) a wet cell does the job just fine at a lower cost!

It's entirely application dependent. For a vehicle, wet cells are fine, For a UPS application, they're a nightmare.

Just to keep the conversation going. For those of you that are going with AGM batteries, are you bumping up your battery group to bring your cranking amps back to the stock ratting since deep cycle batteries usually have lower cranking amps?
