Default Wet back seat!!!!!

Hey guys & girls,

I have an 06 XLT SuperCab and the entire back seat is wet (we just recently had rain come thru)! Now I know my back window was up, so the other assumption is that there is a crack in the seal that surrounds the back window.

Question: How/What can I do to fix this problem fast and cheap!?

I'm thinking just to get some clear anhesive stuff and apply it around the window, but should I apply it inside or outside?

Please help, I don't need this problem when it starts snowing!!!!

If it is a roll down window in a door, I have no idea. If it is the rear window, then the third brake light is the cause and there is a recall for it.

Its your third brake light leaking. Pull off the third brake light, apply some silicone sealant then put the light back in, but let the silicone dry first or you will have a heck of a time pulling it back out in the future. I used to have this prblem when going through car washes, but the problem was fixed when I bought an aftermarket third brake light with a better gasket on it.

Do I apply it "ON" the brake light or on the truck it self?

I would apply it onto the 3rd brake light just so I wasnt putting a bunch of goo on the truck itself. Just make sure you apply it as smooth as possible and let it dry before putting it back on.
