Trust me I tried to talk to her into letting me keep it or buy a new one thats not so lifted and has better gas mileage. But sadly she has me trained better than I thought and Chevy here we come. I drove a bunch of cars from Chevy, Ford, Honda, Kia, Nissan, and Toyota.
It came down to the Sonic or a Fiesta. ( I tried the focus but just didnt really like it, which is weird cause I thought I would) and opted for the Sonic, same MPG's as the Fiesta and Focus (according to the stickers) but cheaper. I have a friend who has a sonic and he loves it, had it a few years with no issues and wasn't apart of the recall.

Is your truck paid off? If so, and you will be getting a payment with the sonic, payment per month is an awful lot of gas. If you are making payments still that point won't work with the wifey.

I owe about 16k on the truck and the dealership is giving me 10k for it (what a battle that was) I have another car I am selling for right around 5k and then using that towards the car. So worst case I will have right around 1 to 2 thousand of overage. Not too terrible
