oh man!! I'd seriously just grab it with some rubber tipped needlenose and give it a tug, If it slipped in, should slip back out.

just use a flat tip screw driver and work it around the edges, its only got the little snap thingys holding it in place. I was scared to do it at first too but just take it slow and it should be alright.
