Seems to me it could be a pinion bearing. Are you completely sure it is coming from the rear? I just had a rotating noise like yours, but it was from the front. My 4 wheel drive wasn't disengaging the drivers side shaft. New actuator on the passenger side fixed it.

Hub bearing? Axle bearing? I think it is impossible to diagnose this online for the most part. When my alignment was out I had a noise devloped and alignment cured it. I am the same way as no one else noticed it but I no my truck and new something was up. Good Luck!

got to get her up in the air. put it neutral, rotate each wheel to hear grinding. if all is good with them they will NOT make noise. you can hear this even rotating them slowly.

How are your tires? They new or old? How many 32nds are left? Warm tires can be very loud. Loud enough to sound like a wheel bearing going out.

Brand new tires. It is a constant noise that starts at 35mph and continues to get louder as I go faster

Does it change with throttle input? Mine makes the noise when I am on the gas but if I let off, it goes away.
