That's also what I'm thinking, and I don't like it.

It does it when I give it gas, when I let off gas, it stops. Doesn't donut in neutral, it's coming from front.
I will video it today.
But the best way to describe sounds is coins in a dryer.

Slapping around because the guides are all broken due to a failed tensioner ..

But it doesn't do it in neutral.
I can rev engine up, no noise, put it in gear, give it gas and there it is.

I've noticed with my 2004 4.6L that if I turn the key and let go right away after firing up, I get the same noise. But if I keep the key turned a few seconds after firing, I do not get the noise. Kinda sounds like the noise you are describing. I haven't looked into my issue yet as it doesn't happen if I do it the way I described. Maybe the starter isn't fully disengaging?
