Weird New Sound?

Weird New Sound?
Noticing a new sound my truck is making and wanting to see if anyone would have an idea. I have an 04 with the 5.4. It's developed a slight vibration type noise that sounds like it's coming from under the dash or underneath the flooring around the pedals. When I just barely hit the throttle, it only happens for a split second when I first start moving from a stop, and once RPM's get up over 1000k it's gone. It is literally just for a split second when I first get rolling. I can make it do it continuously if I just barely put my foot into the throttle and keep it at a crawl under 1000k RPMs. I mostly notice it when moving extra slow like through a drive thru or a parking lot. Any ideas?

Heat shields and really look around for anything that may be causing it. Pop the hood too and look and inspect. One of my rear heat shields was loose and it sounded horrible. Mine was the opposite though, it only did it when I stomped on it

I think I am having the same issue, its almost like a burping sound from under the dash. I have had heat shield issues in the past and this does not remind me of it.
OP, is it worse when its colder? Its about 5 degrees where I am and seems to be worse when its colder.

Thank you all for the input, looked this up and it looks like it's fairly common. I'll get out and check it out tomorrow in the daylight.
And JoKers06 it has definitely been the most noticeable within the last couple months, but it has been pretty warm some here and would still do it so I don't think the temperature has had any effect on it.

I had the exact same problem you are talking about. I found my trouble accidentally while cleaning my throttle body and air flow sensor. Check the air intake hose that comes from the drivers side fender to the air filter. It crosses/sits on a a/c or alternator bracket? There should be a piece of thin foam under there to keep the air intake hose from rattling against the bracket. I think I used some two sided automotive tape between the two. Check that for sure. It resolved the exact same issue you are having.
